Our approach
How we write this knowledge base.
A knowledge base is only useful if you can rely on it. That is why we stick to three rules:
- Figures with a source. Prices and timelines come from the indications that Tommy’s Service, the build team behind our projects, publishes. They are indications, not a quote.
- Rules from the official source. What we write about permits, listed buildings and VAT is checked against the Dutch government (Rijksoverheid), the Informatiepunt Leefomgeving (IPLO), the national Omgevingsloket, the Cultural Heritage Agency (RCE) and the Tax Administration. Every guide ends with a list of sources.
- Dated. Rules and prices change. Each guide shows when it was last updated.
